Recent energy efficiency evolution in the EU
In the framework of the ODYSSEE-MURE project, funded by the European Commission, Enerdata held a webinar to present the evaluation and comparison of the recent evolution and progress of Energy efficiency in the EU. To build this presentation, our experts leveraged the Odyssee database and analysed the current trends to estimate the 2020 data.
Enerdata has leveraged its Odyssee and Global Energy and CO2 databases to publish a report to explore the evolution of the transition to less carbon-intensive transport through the study of four main levers, with a highlight on the best practices to reaching this objective.

Energie für Deutschland 2018
Enerdata has brought its expertise to Weltenergierat Deutschland, the German committee to the World Energy Council, for the 2018 edition of Energy for Germany (Energie für Deutschland). Enerdata provided data and figures on global energy consumption, production and prices.

Implemented in 2005 as the first and largest international greenhouse gas emissions trading scheme in the world, the EU ETS is a major pillar of EU climate policy.

Global energy trends 2013 Analysis
Enerdata published its annual analysis of energy demand of the G20 countries, based on its 2013 data.
Enerdata’s Global Energy Forecasting team contributed with POLES modelling of EU and global scenarios for the reports of two DGs of the European Commission (CLIMA and ENV) together with ICF (lead) and Cambridge Econometrics. Both reports published are:
- DG ENV: Macroeconomic impacts of shale gas extraction in the EU
- DG CLIMA: Mitigation of climate impacts of possible future shale gas extraction in the EU: available technologies, best practices and options for policy makers.
The final report from Enerdata’s Global Energy Forecasting department completed for the UK’s Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has been published. The report, “Costs and benefits to EU member states of 2030 climate and energy targets: Enerdata report”, is based on energy scenarios to 2030 from the POLES-Enerdata model and provides a contribution to the policy debate on the EU 2030 framework for climate and energy policies.

The EnerFuture service provides projections to 2035 of energy supply and demand across the world, powered by the POLES model, to help you with what to expect in the energy industry in the mid-term.
Findings of AMPERE project
A total of 17 energy-economy and integrated assessment models were used in the project to compare differences and commonalities in the results; Enerdata participated using the model POLES.
